The Community Awareness and Education Department at Dubai Charity Association organized an appreciation ceremony for its team, “A‘lam Al-Khair”, which produces the association’s two radio programs: “Duroob Al-Ata’a” on Noor Dubai Radio and “Zayed Al-Khair” on Al Oula Radio Network.
The event recognized the team’s pivotal role in supporting and highlighting the charitable and humanitarian initiatives launched by the association, contributing significantly to strengthening community awareness of its noble mission.
The ceremony, held at Holiday Inn & Suites – Dubai Festival City, was attended by Mr. Khalid Mohammed Al Olama, Secretary-General of Dubai Charity Association; Mr. Adel Matar, Board Member; along with a distinguished group of public figures, influencers, and professionals active in the humanitarian and media fields.
In recognition of their notable contributions and their support for the association’s humanitarian mission,
Mr. Khalid Al Olama honored Dr. Salem Al Ketbi Bu Ali as the Personality of the Ceremony, along with:Mr. Firoz Merchant, Founder and Chairman of Pure Gold Group;Mr. Mohammed Sharafuddin Sharaf, representing Sharaf DG Group;Mr. Mohsen Hassan, General Manager of Dubai Radio Stations; and Mr. Ibrahim bin Khadim, Director of Licensing and Media Content at the UAE Media Council.
As part of the comprehensive appreciation of the A‘lam Al-Khair team,
Mr. Adel Matar honored 21 media professionals, influencers, and active contributors in the media sector, in recognition of their pivotal role in enriching awareness content and promoting Dubai Charity Association’s message across various traditional and digital platforms.
Mr. Adel Matar said in his opening speech:
“Charitable work is a fundamental pillar of our society and truly reflects the values of our wise leadership in giving and generosity. This work cannot thrive or reach those who need it without a vital bridge that connects the donor to the beneficiary, and the idea to its implementation. This bridge is purposeful and responsible media.
Mr. Adel Matar added: Our A‘lam Al-Khair team has proven that they are not merely a group of media professionals or content creators; they are the lens that captures hope in the eyes of those in need, the pen that writes the story of a dignified life, the voice that awakens the spirit of giving within people, and the ambassadors of goodwill and humanitarian values.
He concluded by saying:“ The year 2026 calls on us to achieve even greater excellence — to expand the reach of our message, to elevate our creativity, and to deepen our engagement with issues of sustainable development. And you — the A‘lam Al-Khair team — are the champions of this mission.”
