Dubai Charity Association Delegation Inspects Humanitarian Projects in India and Indonesia

 

Continuous Follow-Up to Enhance Charitable Projects

A delegation from Dubai Charity Association visited India and Indonesia to monitor the progress of its ongoing humanitarian and developmental projects. The visit aimed to assess the performance of these projects, ensure they meet the desired objectives, identify the beneficiaries’ needs, strengthen partnerships with local organizations, and expand the scope of the association’s charitable activities.


 

Delegation Members and Objectives

 

The delegation included:

 

Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of Dubai Charity Association.

 

Nasser Khamis, Financial Manager of the association.

 

Specialized engineers from the External Projects Department.


 

The visit focused on evaluating project outcomes, addressing beneficiaries’ needs, and enhancing work strategies.


 

Achievements: 8,951 Projects in 5 Years

 

Dubai Charity Association has executed numerous projects over the past five years, including:

 

In India: Construction of mosques, Quran memorization centers, schools, clinics, orphanages, housing for the underprivileged, and water well drilling.

 

In Indonesia: Building mosques and expanding religious infrastructure.

 

Projects Inspected

 

Projects in India

 

The delegation inspected 21 projects across various areas, including:

 

Hyderabad: Shaheen Nagar, Shankarpally, Hassan Nagar.

 

Telangana State: Kodad, Sirikonda, Shaligourram.


 

Projects in Indonesia

 

The team visited 14 mosques in regions such as:

 

Solo, Karanganyar, Boyolali, Semarang, Magelang.

 

Engaging with Beneficiaries

 

The delegation met with local residents in both India and Indonesia to discuss their satisfaction with the implemented projects and exchange ideas on sustainable income initiatives.

 

They also held a meeting with H.E. Arif Ali Al Taboor Al Nuaimi, UAE Consul in Hyderabad, to review the association’s projects and discuss future plans to support disadvantaged families and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those in need.
