Dubai Charity Association has announced the launch of its “Substitute Pilgrimage” request service as part of its annual Al Adahi campaign for the year 1446 AH – 2025 AD.

This initiative aims to enable elderly individuals, those with health conditions preventing them from performing Hajj themselves, as well as deceased persons who were unable to fulfill the pilgrimage during their lifetime, to have someone perform Hajj on their behalf.

The association clarified that it will continue to accept Substitute Pilgrimage requests until the 4th of Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to May 31, 2025.

It called on those wishing to benefit from this service to submit their requests promptly through Dubai Charity’s available communication channels, including the official website, smart applications, the main office in Muhaisnah 2, the branch at Avenue Mall – Nad Al Sheba, and Dubai Charity’s representatives in shopping centers.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, emphasized the importance of the “Substitute Hajj” initiative in promoting the values of social solidarity and facilitating the performance of religious duties for Muslims.

He noted that Substitute Pilgrimage is one of the most prominent charitable programs within Al Adahi campaign, as it enables the performance of a fundamental pillar of Islam on behalf of those who passed away without fulfilling it, or for individuals facing chronic health conditions that prevent them from traveling to the holy sites.

He also pointed out that the association offers this service at a symbolic fee of AED 3,000.
