Dubai Charity Association Launches 2025 Al Adahi Campaign in 12 Countries Around the World

Dubai Charity Association has announced the launch of the " Al Adahi Campaign" for the year 1446 AH – 2025 AD, aiming to promote the values of solidarity and compassion, while reviving the Prophetic tradition of offering the blessed Eid sacrifice. The campaign seeks to meet the needs of the most vulnerable segments of society by providing sacrificial meat, Eid clothing, and essential items for orphans and children from low-income families. It also includes a range of other charitable and humanitarian initiatives. The campaign will continue until the blessed Eid al-Adha.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, stated:"We launch our annual Eid Sacrifice Campaign as the blessed first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah approach — the best days to compete in doing good.

I call upon the ambassadors of goodness in our beloved UAE to take part in this year’s Dubai Charity Al Adahi Campaign, to make a meaningful impact in the lives of tens of thousands of beneficiaries across the UAE and 11 countries around the world.

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association explained that the campaign will focus, through its Al Adahi Campaign, on the slaughter and distribution of 7,500 sheep, benefiting around 37,500 individuals both inside and outside the UAE.

He called on philanthropists and those wishing to perform the sacrifice ritual this year to authorize the Association to distribute the sacrificial meat on their behalf — ensuring timely delivery to those in need and adhering to the highest quality standards.

The cost of a sacrifice has been set at AED 650 for inside the UAE, and AED 350 for distribution outside the country.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi noted that the campaign includes the " Substitute Pilgrimage " initiative — a service-oriented program that Dubai Charity Association has consistently provided for individuals who are physically unable to perform the pilgrimage, or for those wishing to perform Hajj on behalf of a deceased relative.

This service is offered at a symbolic cost of AED 3,000, and is carried out by trustworthy and reliable individuals approved by the Association, ensuring that the Substitute Pilgrimage is performed in full accordance with Islamic guidelines.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi pointed out that the campaign also includes an initiative to provide Eid clothing and essential items for 1,000 children from families of widows and divorced women within the UAE.

This initiative aims to improve their living conditions, ensure they have access to the basic necessities of a dignified life, and bring joy to their hearts during the blessed days of Eid al-Adha.
